Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about Simple Pin, Pinterest or our services? Check out these commonly asked questions and if you still haven’t found the answer contact us, we’d be happy to help.
Are you up to date on current Pinterest trends? Smart Feed, etc.
Absolutely! It’s our job to make sure that Simple Pin is obtaining the most up-to-date information regarding Pinterest. We do research, read articles and watch for updates to make sure that our strategies are helping our clients achieve their Pinterest goals.
I’m leaning towards the smaller package to fit within my budget but if I start with that can I bump up the intensity to the Max Maintenance if I’m seeing good results?
Yes, it’s easy to change packages. will send out a new invoice and make the necessary adjustments.
Do you encourage website owners grow their email list using Pinterest?
Absolutely! We believe that the reason to use Pinterest and other social media platforms is to drive traffic back to your website. We offer suggestions for lead magnets and pin the lead pages daily.
What is the clean up fee and why is that required on some accounts?
Accounts can lack fluid order and branding so before we dive into managing an account we want to make sure all the necessary boards and elements are in place so followers can engage with your Pinterest page the moment they click on it. In addition, we want the boards to be optimized for Pinterest search which will encourage growth at a faster rate. We will do a basic clean up (change board covers, place the top 10 most popular boards at the top making sure they are titled, described and categorized) the account 3-5 days before you begin maintenance services.
Does the service I picked include creating boards and doing other maintenance, or just the pins?
When necessary, we will create new boards, change board covers and move them around based on seasonal needs.
Are you able to create, manage and recruit people for group boards?
Yes, this is included in the monthly packages. If it’s necessary and applicable to your brand we can start a group board. We will recruit and manage it as well to make sure the best possible content is being added to the board(s).
Do you know how to find high-performing group boards?
Yes! However, since the introduction of the Smart Feed, Pinterest has limited the views of group board pins. We rely less on them as a part of our strategy. When necessary, a high-performing group board will be part of our plan.
Can you attach a campaign ID to the URL for each of my own pins?
Sure! It will be a small additional fee.
Will this result in greater traffic?
That’s the plan! If you have’t been an active pinner you will see a big jump in page views. If you have been consistently pinning, the jump in growth may not be as large but the numbers and the page views will continue to increase.
Do you search my blog for posts to pin or will I need to give direction on that?
We want to reduce the time it takes searching for posts that are Pinterest ready. We will create a spreadsheet template for you to insert a certain number of posts that are your most popular. When you complete a post we ask that you put the link into the spreadsheet so we can pin it and offer feedback if needed. It is also helpful for the client to add a separate tab in the spreadsheet for posts that need to be updated for Pinterest.
Are you able to work with cultural and religious needs?
There are some cases where bloggers need to be sensitive to their cultural and religious customs, not only for themselves but for the people who follow them. This may require that they abstain from using social media for a select period of time. We are happy to adjust our pinning schedule to accommodate those needs.
